Our Plinth Blocks and Rosettes are all original creations. The Plinth Blocks are hand sculpted and cast in GRG (glass reinforced gypsum.) The Rosettes match the designs of the Plinth Blocks. The minerals that formulate GRG are environmentally friendly. Forests are not cut down to manufacture our product. Our Plinth Blocks are made one at a time. Wood Plinth Blocks are machine made. Before machinery was introduced, architectural parts were cast and formed with plaster. This is a very old art form and the same methods are still used to create our Plinth Blocks. Given the dimensions and thickness of our blocks, the machinery that could produce similar wood blocks, would take much longer to create and would be very expensive. We hope to have created a design that will complement your interior design.

The Queen Ann Design has a floral pattern at the top and the center of the rosettes, or case block. It is an elegant design that will complement a traditional look. It is one of our most popular Base Blocks. The Base Blocks measurements are 10 3/4" X 5 1/2" X 1 1/8" thick where the base and case moldings intersect. The Rosette Case Block is 5 1/2" sq. Use with 5" case moldings and up to 7 1/2" base moldings.
